Meet the Ensemble
Carly Wilson
she/her Growing up in the city of Aberdeen, Carly has always had a passion for the arts. Moving to Edinburgh in 2016 has allowed Carly to discover her own taste and opinion towards theatre. In particular, she found herself fascinated with the actors body whilst exploring the world of physical movement. The unexplainable euphoric feeling whilst witnessing text and movement come together, is something that especially fuels her work. |
Cara Watson
she/her Cara grew up in a small coastal town in Fife and as a child she was always drawn to the livelihood of theatre, which led her to Edinburgh to study and pursue this passion. Focusing on both contemporary and classical drama, Cara would like to expand the conventions of theatre and devise new and dynamic work that’s accessible and inclusive to all. |
Tanyaradzwa Gimani
she/they Tanyaradzwa came from Zimbabwe at the age of 10. At this age theatre was just a little bubble of interest but it quickly transformed into her biggest passion. She has worked with the likes of Paddy Cuneen, Andy Cannon, Aileen Ritchie and Alasdair Hunter. Tanya is eager to work with other actors and performers from various cultures and learn what theatre is like in other countries. |
Ella Hällgren
she/her Ella was born on the north coast of Sweden, and has since a young age performed on stage and worked creatively at different events and festivals. She moved to Edinburgh in 2016 to study acting, and quickly discovered her interest in writing & theatre making. She finished writing her first play in 2019, and has since worked on a variety of script ideas to explore with the UMT Collective. |
